- Great CD marred by overzealous Copy Protection
Unfortunately, this otherwise great release is marred by Sony/BMG's overzealous "rootkit" Sunncomm MediaMax Version 5 copy protection that will leave your computer vulnerable to hackers, trojans, and virus attacks.

You can read more about the dangers of playing a CD with the rootkit on your computer on the Sysinternals website. I'd advise not to buy this if you don't want your computer to be vulnerable to viruses/trojans/hackers.

- Bringin' the pain!!!
T-Pain is a very creative artist and his first commercial release reflects this completely. This is definitely ridin' music so cop the album.

- LOVE IT!
It's so refreshing to buy a hiphop/r&b album that is talking about things besides drugdealing, explicit sex, and money/cars, especially by a dirty-south artist. Though there is one song about smoking weed, it's unique because it's about his first time smoking, and the song is GREAT. The songs that he does have on the album with sexual content aren't offensive and have poetic lyrics with great arrangement. His current single, In Luv With a Stripper, is the only song with lyrics that are a little on the lude side, but it's still not as nasty as a lot of other music out there. What's amazing is how he manages to still keep the hiphop/street feel throughout the album while still having elements that would appeal to the r&b/pop world. So pretty much anyone would enjoy this album. I think this album is ground-breaking and is not getting the recognition it deserves. T-Pain wrote AND produced basically the entire album, which is amazing considering he's only 21 years old! My favorite song on the album is "Fly Away" because it's a real personal account of his life, and it has a jazzy-bigband sound that is unlike any music I've heard in the last 15 years, and the vocal arrangement is awesome. The album also has it's fair share of upbeat songs that aren't the typical "crunk" type of songs you normally hear nowadays; they have his own original flavor with plenty of bass, and i love it. And by the way, the electronic voice effect really isn't used as much as people say it is. Only about 4 or 5 songs use much of the vocoder sound, and you may hear it on a word here and there on maybe two more songs. His use of that voice effect is usually very subtle since so you barely notice it, and it makes his voice blend nicely with the music, which is probably what he's going for since he's a producer more than he is a singer.I hope this artist is around for a long time and that he makes many more albums and produces albums for other people, because I love his style and that he isn't conforming to current music trends... it's like he invented his own genre by fusing hiphop, r&b, and pop together, and the end result is a true grammy-worthy masterpiece.

- It was Edited!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was in great shape when I got it and I recived it really fast. The olny problem I had was the CD was edited and I did not know that. I would have never bought it. That was my bad.

- THE BEST
I'm so so sooooooooooooooo glad that I DIDNT see the dumb arse reviews about this album before I bought it. This CD not only has tracks which are entertaining and funny, but it sounds just great and the voices are brilliant too. I remember when it came out, "I'm Sprung" was played over and over and over again on the radio. So how can it be that bad? I'm always a fan of songs which tell stories, especially ones that make me laugh. And the african american way of speaking is itself amusing in its own right. I never get tired of hearing "Rappa Ternt Sanga", "I'm Sprung" and "Have It" over and over and over again. So a BIG thumbs up to this album. Now go and buy it.
