SWEETBOX first became famous with the singer Kimberly Kearney and the single Booyah - Here We Go in the summer of 1995. Following Kimberly's departure from the project, Dacia Bridges was hired and released 2 further singles in 1996, Shakalaka and Wot. In 1997, SWEETBOX released the singles I'll Die For You, Everything's Gonna Be Alright and Don't Go Away, followed by the first regular studio album Sweetbox with the third singer Tina Harris.
