Hay dos grupos llamados Slipknot 1. Slipknot es un grupo de Metal Alternativo formado en Des Moines, en el estado de Iowa, Estados Unidos, caracterizados por el hecho de que cada uno de los integrantes usa una máscara. Primeros años Las primeras canciones de Slipknot comenzarón a crearse en el año 1993. Entonces el proyecto se llamó «The Pale Ones», «Pyg system», y «Meld» antes de llamarse Slipknot.
