To celebrate both her 70th birthday and the brilliance of her genre-blurring artistry, Luminato brings together an all-star lineup of musicians and vocalists, including the 10-time Grammy Award winning, Queen of Soul Funk, Chaka Khan! As well as Luminato favorite Rufus Wainwright, Oscar-winning singer-songwriter Glen Hansard, and Grammy-nominated jazz guitarist Bill Frisell, interpreting the songs that shaped a generation and will continue to be shared, and felt, for generations to come.

El festival se adapta al momento económico bajando el precio de las entradas, con la voluntad de que este año nadie se quede sin festival. Ésto lo podemos hacer gracias al apoyo de los patrocinadores, en especial Estrella Damm.

El precio ha subido a 40€ (+ gastos)

El concierto que ofrece en el Real mezclará canciones propias con obras de Hector Berlioz, Rodgers & Hammerstein y Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

A Music Hall/Music Without Borders Co-Presentation:
The last few years have been quite a journey for Rufus Wainwright. Creatively, he put pop music aside and concentrated on his other interests, from his Grammy-nominated recreation of Judy Garland's fabled Carnegie Hall concert to the 2009 premiere of his opera, Prima Donna. All of these experiences inform his seventh studio album, Out of the Game, along with the input of a new collaborator, celebrated producer Mark Ronson. The results are the loosest, most accessible music of Wainwright's career, retaining his distinctive narrative sense and wry wit while adding classic pop pleasures.
