Descripción (en inglés) :
Raven-Symoné has literally grown up before our eyes. The multi-talented, multi- hyphenate entertainment powerhouse was all of two when she captured our hearts on "The Cosby Show." Since then, whether it's on TV, in film or in the studio Raven-Symoné has continued to evolve and push herself creatively. You can feel and hear that on Raven-Symoné's new, self-titled CD (Hollywood Records). Featuring some of R&B/hip-hop's hottest producers including Eric Hudson, Sean Garrett (Fergie, Beyonce) The J.A.M. (Leona Lewis) and the Clutch (Keri Hilson/Timbaland, Ciara); Raven-Symoné's fourth album, is fun, funky, feisty, smart and reflective. From emotional ballads to banging hip-hop/R&B Raven-Symoné is all about an artist opening up her heart and soul, taking chances and becoming her own woman. "I've got songs with substance. I'm not just some pop princess doing sweet tooth music. Everything that I've ever done is all about growth," Raven-Symoné says. "If you want to use the analogy that life is like high school then this is my senior album, I'm still only 22, but sometimes I feel much more older and then it's like I'm still 15, " she laughs. - Disney? Nahh.Unfortunately, Raven-Symoné is always automatically slapped with a 'Disney artist' label because of her past associations with the company. This is understandable, but it's time people move past that..and she is making just that statement with her fourth studio album, 'Raven-Symoné'. The album is full of uptempo R&B club bangers like "What Are You Gonna Do?", "Green", and "Girl Get It", as well as well-crafted pop/R&B ballads like "Anti-Love Song" and "Love Me or Leave Me", which surprisingly adds a little rock tinge to the chorus. While some of the songs come off as unnecessarily arrogant, you can tell it's all sang in good fun and aimed to make the record an overall party album. Raven has pulled just that off.

- Raven-Symoné Brings 'it' on New Album!Raven-Symoné's new album will definitely shock the ears of her fans, and of people who have doubt in her, saying that she is "too Disney," or aims for a "younger crowd."
Raven works with Producers like Sean Garrett (Beyoncé), Kwame, Oak of the Knightwritaz, The J.A.M., and a bunch more!
The songs on the album make you feel good, sure, their are many songs you can dance to, there is only one song that is slow called "Hollywood Life," which is a great song!
Overall, I would give the album an 'A-', it is so much better than Symoné's 2004 "This Is My Time."
BEST TRACKS:
All of them....HONESTLY!

- WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Raven's new album is unbelieveable. She has always had strong vocals, which I love that's way I love this album, because she really brought it in this album. It is way better than This Is My Time. All the songs are like she said more of a up beat album. GREAT ALBUM!!!!!!

- GET OVER IT. No, really...just hear her out....It seems in a world of talentless hacks like Ciara & T-Pain, anyone with a hot beat can become a lot richer and a superstar...Where has all the REAL music gone? I haven't bought this CD yet, thanks to Hollywood Records, who only distributed 100,000 copies, but once I do, you'd better believe I'll be BACK to give this album the proper review it DESERVES.
But just by listening to the clips and looking at the titles, you can see Raven sticks out as she doesn't ride on hypnotic beats and nonsense lyrics, but belts out a voice to be reckoned with, and messages that you plain and simple-DON'T FIND ANYWHERE ELSE, except for religious music.
Kids can get it on without singing along to degrading lyrics, topics such as grinding, drugs or sex and won't be asking anyone to "touch their body" or "buy them a drank". And the older ones, can jam along to songa that speak about the real issues they handle on a day-to-day basis.
So,
you want good music? Give her a chance and let her show you why she Disney's breakout star-BEFORE High School Musical, BEFORE Hanney Montany, BEFORE the Jonas Bros and why her positive message and OBVIOUS talent can give everyone a good time-a pajama party good time at that...
and if not that, give your little girl someone to look up to...Raven won't tell her to "watch him while he checks up on it", but to respect herself and BE HAPPY with herself(you hear that message a lot today?):In Your Skin,etc... and your young man to not treat women as sexual objects to be degraded.:Stupid, etc...
