Description :
The proof can be found in Greatest Hits, Volume 1, a compliation that comes as close to bottling magic as it's possible to get. The CD brings together the best of the first four of Rascal Flatts' five studio albums, and its 13 cuts--7 of them #1 singles--bring into clear focus the path Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney have taken to the top. Even as Greatest Hits, Volume 1 catalogs the first part of their journey, Rascal Flatts continues to make music that thrills fans in arena after arena and continues to bring to the airwaves one of country's most distinctive and well-loved sounds.Customer review - 2008-10-28
- nice collection - great christmas songs - but i wish there was some new material hereAs a huge rascal flatts fan, i have followed them from the beginning. It's been awesome to watch them journey from "some new group" to become one of the most popular groups in all of music!!!
This is a great collection of songs - don't get me wrong. But for those of us who already own every rascal flatts album, all we get with the new release is 3 new Christmas songs. The Christmas songs are all really awesome, but i must ask - why only three? In the recent digital years when you can now legally make your own hits mix, I cannot remember the last Country Music greatest hits album that did not have any new singles on it...to encourage more people to buy the album. I know that they are still releasing songs off of "Still Feels Good" - which i can understand because the 5th single "Here" is one of the best songs out there right now. Their new album "Unstoppable" will be hit stores in April 2009, so we will at least get some new material soon!
Overall this is a nice add to complete your collection - but if you already own all the songs on it - it's little annoying that more new tunes couldn't have been added to the album. It just seems like something is missing...but everything that's on here is awesome!

- WickedI do not own this CD but i have Me And My Gang, Feels Like Today, Melt And Rascal Flatts. Every song on the first disc is on one of those CD's and they are all great except Skin (That really, really, really stinks)so I would stongly encourage any Rascal Flatts fan who is thinking about buying this CD to do so

- great for anyoneRascal Flatts is, without a doubt, one of today's most popular country bands. And they deserve that honor. I honestly don't get why people bash them so much. They make great music and who cares if it is pop influenced country. Anyway, here is my song by song review.

- Beautiful music - used at recent weddingMY husband and I got married on Dec, 5th. It was the 3rd marriage for both of us, so we wanted it to be quite and private. The songs "Bless the Broken Road" and "I Melt" fit so well with our past and present. They are beautiful and meaningful songs. So, along with a old Bob Dylan classic, "Just To Feel My Love", we got married with those song playing softly in the background. Faye (Smith) and Bill Milan, Mt, Airy, NC
