After listening to this new live cd from Peter Frampton, I had to buy the dvd of this concert as well. Once you see Frampton's energy onstage you'll appreciate this cd even more. I actually like this cd as much as his classic live album of 1976, and it sounds better because of technological advancements in the music industry. His rendition of Humble Pie's "I Don't Need No Doctor" is superior to the original Humble Pie version. Frampton plays all his requested hits plus one new song which is a slow song but is nice just the same. I see where one reviewer says there's only one live album and that's Frampton's 76' album. Well Frampton (in my mind) is better now than back then. I know cause I've seen him in concert recently and he puts on one heck of a show.

Peter Frampton has one of my all-time favorite songs, the awesome guiter filled, lyrically stunning... Do you Feel Like I Do. This song is absolutely one of my favorites and this recording of it is great. The rest of the album is Classic Frampton, so if your a fan it's a must have.

The DVD is great! The CD, however, falls short. It has an abbreviated song list, as usual. While I'm a able to do without Penny For Your Thoughts and I'll Give You Money, how can they possibly leave out Baby (Somethin's Happening)?!! This opening song sets the tone for the entire concert! I'm very disappointed that I didn't review the track list prior to purchase. Get the DVD. You'll enjoy the concert much more!

Frampton can still kick it out, is the short version. And he's developed a mature irony to go along with his chops. The version of "Do You Feel Like We Do" rocks as titanically as the _Alive_ version did. But this one includes a rollicking, funky piano breakdown, as well as a more boisterous bass line. The crowd roars in anticipation of the by now familiar climaxes, but they still sound fresh, nonetheless. And Frampton is on to himself as rock dinosaur, never taking himself too seriously. At one point, during the talkbox section, he even breaks into a little Austin Powers routine. "Yeah, baybee!" A treat!

HES BACK!!!.. This Album is at his finest. Its better than Comes Alive because its very clean and the solos are much more dark and mystical... Comes Alive had great Solos, however Live in Detroit has Absolute Domination over What we heard from CA..Lines on my face is possible one of the best songs Ive ever heard, and in this version I nearly cried. DONT LISTEN TO THE CRAPPY REVIEWS!!!! BUY THIS ALBUM!!!!
