- This is actually a Nanette Workman CD, not Frampton...
Here's the info I know: Frampton played lead guitar on this CD, but the artist is actually the singer Nanette Workman, the original title of the album was "Grits and Cornbread". Maybe you don't know her but you surely know the people who worked with her on this 1977 album record produced by French Star Johnny Hollyday, recorded at Olympic Studios, London. Nanette has been well known in Quebec since the early 70's. She's American, worked in Montreal, on Broadway and for a few years in England, now's living in Montreal. (As an example she is the voice you hear behind Mick Jagger on the Rolling Stones' hit Honky Tong Woman and on a number of cuts on Let It Bleed). The personnel on this record is: Peter Frampton great solos (guitar) Andy Bown (bass & keyboards) Mike Kelli (drums) Jim Price (trumpet) Bobby Keyes (sax). Keith Richard wrote her a song for this album "Loving Cup", and she does an excellent cover of the tune "All I Wanna Be (Is By Your Side)" by Peter Frampton, and "P.S. Get lost" by Andy Bown. All other songs are by Nanette Workman. Also, this album is exactly the same as another Frampton & Friends album called PACIFIC FREIGHT.

- What a rip off!
There's no Frampton guitar or vocals on this CD! I don't know where the heck this stuff came from. If you buy this CD, I'm certain you'll be sorely disappointed. It's garbage!

- This Is Not A Peter Frampton Album!!
This album is by someone named Nanette Workman. It's not a Peter Frampton album. Peter Frampton may have played guitar on this session but the final result is nothing like anything you would expect from a Frampton release.

The material on this CD is nowhere near the quality of Peter Frampton's work; Nanette Workman is simply not in Frampton's league!! She a backup singer, nothing more.

Beware!!! There's nothing about Nanette Workman on the liner notes of this CD. The CD cover is all about Peter Frampton. Very misleading!! (And probably intentionally misleading)

- Peter Frampton & Friends - 'Coming Live' (Griffin)
Another cheezy release from the Griffin's series of 'Beat The Bootleggers'.Only complaint here is that the disc isn't what it implies - it isn't a live album.Turns out to be seven tracks of Peter Frampton playing on other artist's songs. It's okay.A couple of tunes here that are worth a listen or two are Gary Wright with "Love Taker",Frampton's own "All I Wanna Be" and Billy Workman's "A Woman" where you can REALLY hear Frampton's stellar guitar playing.Pretty much aimed toward bored collectors and die-hards.

- Frampton's NOT performing!
The tile is misleading, to say the least. Frampton is not singing or playing the guitar on the only song I know that's his: ALL I WANNA BE. THE TITLE IS MISLEADING. The guitar comes close but that's it. The other songs I don't recognize as any of HUMBLE PIE'S. There's a Gary Wright tune but it's not G.W. either.
