Heather Mills and Paul McCartney Face Off in Court

It might be the beginning of the end of the bloody battle going on between Paul McCartney and his soon-to-be ex-wife, Heather Mills. The two met up in court yesterday to discuss the division of Paul's $1.6 billion assets. Reportedly, Mills is looking to get $120 million. Heather arrived shortly before Paul, keeping tight-lipped while McCartney managed a "Good morning" to the photographers gathered outside London's High Court. Monday was day one of a five-day, private hearing between the warring couple. After five hours, Paul and Heather exited separately and I'm pretty sure that if Heather would have emerged sobbing, had she gone with her original plan to represent herself after firing her legal team in November. Instead, she hired a new attorney shortly before the court session to face the Paul's lawyer, Fiona Shackleton, who worked on the divorce case of Prince Charles and Princess Diana. Heather has said in interviews that this divorce has caused her to contemplate suicide and that she's received numerous death threats as a result of the bad press she's received. Personally, if it had made my life to miserable, I think I would have given up on the $120 million and just cut my losses. But then again, I have a job.
