Kelly Clarkson to Cover Patty Griffin With Jeff Beck on Idol?

Rumor has it that Kelly Clarkson’s appearance on tonight’s super-obscenely-special-must-see-amazing-fabulous episode of American Idol (it’s all for a good cause so you’re supposed to feel guilty if you don’t watch) will involve her singing a cover of Patty Griffin’s “Up to the Mountain” with Jeff Beck of all people.
