Pat Benatar tried experimenting with a few musical styles in the early-90's (such as 1991's blues/R&B departure TRUE LOVE). However, on such releases as 1997's INNAMORATA, she eventually returned to the style that made her a big '80s rocker in the first place.

Longtime collaborator/guitarist (and husband) Neil Geraldo joins Pat once again, to create an album that contains elements of her best past work (CRIMES OF PASSION, etc.), but this time with a more mature spin--strings and acoustic guitar playing are in evidence throughout. Pat's voice is still in fine form, as evidenced by such standouts as "Only Love," "Purgatory," and "Papa's Roses."
