Otis Redding's life & music was celebrated in Madison, WI on December 10, 2007. Redding & most of his band died as their plane crashed into Lake Monona 40 years ago. Surviving member Ben Cauley and musicians Robert J & Westside Andy turned out for the tribute, singing "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay." Madison's mayor Dave Cieslewicz dedicates 12/10/2007 as Otis Redding Day in Madison.
