If we told you there was new show called "Making Menudo," you might think -- you might even hope -- that it was from Food Network and covered how to make that Ecuadorian and Mexican soup and perhaps other south-of-the-border favorites. Not exactly. It's actually a new reality show coming October 25th from MTV and it's about that one-time hugely popular boy band from Puerto Rico that also launched the career of Ricky Martin. The Menudo brand dictated that once a band member turned 16, they had outgrown the group. Fifteen finalists, off-brand in that they're ages 13-19, have been selected and MTV seems to think they'll be able to launch a new Menudo playing to "millions of adoring fans." No doubt a noble cause.
