LISTEN UP: Pablo Picasso Was Not An A-Hole

The Modern Lovers are definitely going directly onto my ipod, if only for rhyming "Pablo Picasso" with "A**hole". Though "Pollock" and "bollocks" or "Rockwell" and "C*ckwell" also would have worked fine. (The Stypod) Pop Headwound familiarizes us with the heavily classic rock-influenced Grand Champeen. I wonder if this band could beat Judah Friedlander? I doubt it. Largehearted Boy dishes out a handful of mp3s including the highly underrated Smashing Pumpkins track "With Every Light," the gooey center inside the otherwise mostly unpleasant jawbreaker that was the Machina album. More Stars tracks? Keep 'em coming. What?? I'll tell you when I've had enough, damnit. (Cause = Time) I was never too familiar with Mansun, but The Runout Groove gives them a decent introduction. I'm glad to learn the band doesn't just scrawl the names of their songs onto walls with blood.
