- LOVE IT, LUV IT, LUVVVVVV IT!!!!!
I was very hesitant about getting this cd. But im glad I did. I was completly blown away by this cd. The one that got me the most was Inseperable. Hey have you guys heard that song IF by Destiny Childs. Well, they sample from Inseperable. I reccommend everyone who loves real music and not this manufactured R&B should get this cd. All the songs are banging on this CD.

- Natalie Cole Inseparable
Natalie Cole with her 1975 Debut Album Inseparable is one way to prove why Natalie Cole early on became my Favorite Entertainer as well as one of my Favorite People. With songs like Needing You,Joey,Inseparable,I Can't Say No,This Will Be(An Everlasting Love),Something For Nothing,I Love Him So Much,How Come You Won't Stay Here?,Your Face Stays In My Mind, and You,you can tell that she was well on her way to becoming a Legend and Icon in her own right despite the early comparisons to her father Nat King Cole and Aretha Franklin.

- Childhood revisited
My family first had this on 8-track tape on our console stereo system. I remember completing my housework with joy as this played over and over. It made pretty quick work of it. This is my 2nd favorite effort from Natalie, with the first being her "LIVE" album that came out a few years later (must check out her rendition of the Beatles' "Lucy in the Sky").
The beginning song "Needing You" starts the cd on a fast pace and then it continues to ebb and flow til the end song "You" which is a soulful ballad that is easy to dedicate to the one you love. Natalie Cole is a treasured classic and surely has had wonderful attention; but not nearly enough over her career...thanks for the memories, Ms. Cole!!

- The first is usually always the best
Had the album in college and totally forget how good it was, I of course got it for her 2 most famous hits and than realized how great all the sounds were, totally worth it. It is also timeless. Frankly her newer stuff seems dated.

- Her first and one of her very best. . . .
First hailed as the seventies answer to Aretha Franklin, Natalie Cole delivered a debut album (circa 1975) that was admirably restrained and surprisingly varied. The songs range from the plush, quiet fire stirrings of the gorgeous title track to the fiesty soul-rock fusion of "Something For Nothing." There are generous helpings of churchy-soul ("I Can't Say No") and buoyant pop/r&b/jazz (the smash "This Will Be" and "Joey"). Cole's economy of style throughout is astonishing, especially since she was so obviously influenced by the wild sides of Aretha, Rufus& Chaka Khan and Janis Joplin. Like Khan and Joplin, Cole was also, by her own admission, then in the grip of a serious drug problem. Nevertheless, anyone even remotely curious about Cole's uniqueness will find more than enough to satisfy and admire here. In essence, this is a superb showcase from an artist who has proven her staying (and comeback) power many times over!
