- MOTLEY'S BEST ALBUM
This is without doubt Motley Crue's best album. Not to mention the theme and songwriting... Nikki was at his most talented here... it's been downhill since. Vince is in fine form (as usual), Tommy rocks really good, and the solos are supurb. This is THE Motley album to own.

- The Crue's finest moment
For me, "Girls, Girls, Girls" is Motley Crue at their hardest, purest and most creative. Picking up where 1985's "Theater of Pain" left off, "Girls, Girls, Girl" (1987) combines hard-edged lyrics with fast-paced, catchy guitar licks to create a fabulously fun 40-minute romp of hard rock. From the violence and rage of "Wild Side" to the sexual energy of the title track to the tongue-in-cheek humor of "Your All I Need", Vince Neil and the boys have put together one of the most upbeat, high-powered albums in the world of hard rock. I also like "Dr. Feelgood", but for me "Girls" features better songwriting and is a purer, less glammy form of the Crue. A must-have album for anyone building a hard-rock music library.

- motley does it all .
The second best motley cd,dr.feelgood is thee king. The video for girls, girls, girls alone, could sell ten million copies. song like wild side, just rock, cover jailhouse rock is very very good. MOTLEY CRUE is one of the hair band era best.

this was an extremely popular record for the crue, but you have to wonder why. still half-assing it at this point, only "wild side", "you're all i need" and the title track really stand out. there's also a pretty little piece "nona" that nikki wrote for his grandmother. but again it's bad covers ("jailhouse rock") and lazy rockers ("bad boy boogie") that bury this album. at least they party like rock stars...

- Ultimate Party Album? Nah
The Crue stood out among the crop of LA hair-metal bands that appeared in the early 80's because they were a heavy metal band posing as a glam rock band (As opposed to those glam rock bands posing as heavy metal). Don't let the title of the album fool you. "Girls Girls Girls", perhaps the Crue's defining moment, is an album for disaffected youth. Like Guns N' Roses "Appetite for Destruction" it paints a portrait of life on the fringes of LA society, a life that Vince, Tommy and the boys knew all too well. "Wildside" and "Five Years Dead" are stark street anthems that precede the ganster rap of the early 90's. "Dancin' on Glass" is a haunting paen to heroin addiction. And "You're All I Need" is an eerie ballad from the point of view of a man who has murdered his lover. With lyrics like Laid out cold/Now we're both alone/But killing you/Helped keep you at home/ it stands out among the myriad of power ballads that saturated the airwaves of the day. Of course, the album contains the standard party tracks. The title track, "Bad Boy Boogie", "Sumthin' For Nuthin'" and a blistering rendition of "Heartbreak Hotel" stand the test of time as alcohol soaked party anthems.
