As the English version, this CD worths a lot. The music from mid '80s makes me remember when I was a teen. Anyway, if you listen to Miguel Bosè one time, you have to turn into a fan! Buy it, if you can!!

In the 80's Miguel Bose released a trio of superb albums (bandido, salamandra, XXX) that were made in the new wave aesthetic, later in the 90's he would move into adult contemporary territory. XXX is the peak of that period and tough Salamandra had the best singles, XXX as a whole album is the best of the three. The album is primarily electronic, made of progammed sequences and synth riffs, with some sax and trumpet used very elegantly on a few songs. The two singles are classics (como un lobo, duende). The music is superb very well produced by Tony Mansfield (a-ha). Regarding the lyrics he uses a lot of metaphors and abstract writing as with all of his albums of that period. The only song that is really straight and simple is the one in english (over my head), he didn't write it. with this album Bose ends, a trilogy maybe? and surely the best period of his career. I recommend this album to fans of rock & pop in spanish, synth pop fans, and of course Bose fans.

El pop que estaba saliendo de España en los ochentas suena casi contemporaneo. Especialmente Bose. Es el 2006 y todavia me parece que estoy escuchando este disco apenas hace dos años. XXX contiene de las mejores canciones que Bose ha compuesto. Me parece haber leido uno de los reviews que dice que "corazon infame" es uno de los numeros debiles del album. Pienso todo lo contrario. Corazon Infame es una de las mejores canciones del album, con un sonido tan intemporal que podria haber salido este año al mercado. Otra joya es "que no hay", la letra de ambas es poetica mas no cliche, tipica de la forma en que Bose escribe sus canciones. Un "must" en cualquier coleccion discografica.

Is it shameless to say that "?Que No Hay?" is my all time favorite song? Then I "Leave No Tracks In The Dust" when I say it. A True Gem of a song, that in my mind could go on and on. I have owned at least 5 copies of this CD, as I have worn out each copy. I ferociously sought out the title of "?Que No Hay?" when first heard the song on a "smooth jazz" radio station here in So. Cal. When I was finally able to purchase my first copy of this wonderful CD, I was overwhelmed by how great every song was. I enjoy the Castillion Spanish version as much as I enjoy the English version. So much talent and so little airplay for this guy. The world can be so stingy, though the songs on this CD are generous. Music of this nature could be compared with the riches of nature. Riches which can and do appeal to each of our senses. Music this rich--can and does the same thing!
