Descripción (en inglés) :
The latest discovery for producer David Foster (Josh Groban, Celine Dion, Barbra Streisand, Whitney Houston), 20-something heartthrob Canadian crooner Michael Buble, has been introduced to the U.S. in 2003 with a debut album, tracks on a major-motion-picture soundtrack and now a beautiful, ornamentally packaged Christmas EP. Featuring five holiday classics, Let It Snow adds tinsel to the promise of neo-swing's Buble for the coming new year.Análisis de usuario (en inglés) - 2003-11-27
- "Wonderful entertainer, great voice and nice guy ~ Buble!"Pop vocalist of the millennium is Michael Buble, with shades of Connick, Darin, Sinatra and Torme, all rolled into one nice neat package (and that's the plain truth). Just in time for the holidays Buble has released "Let It Snow!", featuring an unforgettable youthful style that takes you back to Christmas' of long, long ago. Listening to this five track compact disc, brings back memories of Bing Crosby in "Holiday Inn", where Bing first sang the Irving Berlin classic song of these special times "WHITE CHRISTMAS" ~ then we have "THE CHRISTMAS SONG (CHESTNUTS ROASTING ON AN OPEN FIRE)", composed by Mel Torme/Robert Wells and debuted by Nat "King" Cole (one of the greatest entertainers of all time), but Michael nails this classic tune with his own signature and makes it his very own ~ "LET IT SNOW!", wonderful arrangement by Johnny Mandel, as Buble sings the white stuff is coming down in big flakes ~ "GROWN-UP CHRISTMAS LIST", beautiful almost music box tune written by David Foster (producer of this album), the verse brings a tear to your eye as Michael pours his heart out, this track alone is worth the price of the album. But my all time favorite popular Christmas song is "I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS", this chokes my wife up, cause when I served in the Navy couldn't be with her that one Christmas, every time she hears this song it all comes back, Buble takes the David Foster and Jeremy Lubbock arrangement along with heartfelt lyrics and brings it home, just listen quietly and see if you don't agree. My wife and I were fortunate enough to see Michael in a St. Louis concert, met him back stage, told us he had just recorded this album and was very proud of the result. Might add this young man made a very positive impression on all who attended that night's show ~ he's a first class guy and has everything going for him ~ couldn't happen to a nicer person...gotta love it! Total Time: 17:47 on 5 Tracks ~ Reprise Records 48599 ~ (1125/2003)

- Not your average Christmas pop CD!Finally a singer under the age of 50 who actually LISTENS to the lyrics that he's singing and interprets them in a unique way! To my mind, this is where Buble's appeal lies. Is his style reminiscent of Sinatra and Bobby Darin? Yes. But it's more of an homage than a duplication. Buble has a rich, smooth, beautiful voice that gives these songs that we've heard a thousand times a new dimension. And DICTION...wow, there's a concept! Listen to "Grown Up Christmas List" and you'll see what I mean. Keep Mariah, Whitney, Christina, and Celine with their power-belting and vocal acrobatics that leave you yearning for a more Silent Night. THIS is how gentle Christmas ballads should be sung girls. Pay attention.

- Just PLain Wonderful!Michael Buble just floors me! I have his debut album and really like his way with those great standards; I have seen him live and he simply took my breath away not to mention made me experience the best live concert I have ever seen. This guy has it all -- a great voice, great style (it IS a Michael style -- I'll know him when I hear him even without seeing the credits)and a most ingratiating persona and stage presence. SO, this Christmas CD is yet another most fulfilling piece of work. To start off, the songs are 5 of the very best Christmas songs and they are perfect for a Michael B. take on them. For me, he brings out the very best in each song -- the phrasing, the words, the rhythm, the style. The interpretations are so nuanced and yet so natural -- it is as if these works were waiting for a new definitive take on the way they should be sung...they are the same YET not the same thanks to Michael. And, ofcourse, there is that voice -- velvety, cool, rich and so expressive. It is a true symbiotic relationship -- Michael is perfect for these songs and the songs are perfect for Michael. Perhaps what makes the disc more special is that Michael comes across as truly real, sincere, genuine -- from the heart! He loves the songs, has a great time with the songs and it shows.

- A Beautiful Voice singing Beautiful MusicThe songs on this short cd are mostly classics and the voice of Michael Buble is perfect for them. His smooth, mellow voice makes the words come alive. I have heard the songs over the years by many artists, but when Michael sings them I just have to stop and listen, he is that good. If you only buy one new Christmas cd, make it this one. You will play it over and over for many years. I know I will. Several people on my Christmas list are getting copies of this one. Please, Michael, give us a full album next year.

- Music fan from USA's review shouldn't be hereA wonderful CD that definitely makes you yearn for more songs. Buble has a beautiful quality in his voice that rivals even that of the great Frank Sinatra. His is an entrancing melody that keeps you smiling and definitely makes one appreciate jazz more. To music fan from USA, who wrote a very uneducated and ill review--I suggest you actually buy and listen to the music first before saying anything as scathing and as shallow as what you just said. Michael Buble may not be anybody to you, but YOU, sad to say will forever be nobody to the rest of the music-appreciating world.
