I can't remember when I first heard do you think of me, but I do remember going on a quest to find this rare tune, it is by far one of the best songs she has.

this is definitely not one of mariah's best CD's. i would recommend buying it only if you are trying to get a collection of every cd she has ever made. if you just want a cd to listen to in your spare time for fun, this isn't the best. there are hardly any vocals on the songs, just a lot of club/dance music, and on the songs where there actually are vocals, they are mostly those fat backup singer women singing. i was truly dissapointed when i bought this cd; it could be better. but if you love mariah like i do, get it anyway.

I remember the very first time I heard this song in 1993. My mom was watching TV and she said a new Mariah Carey video was going to be on so I saw the video and I just fell in love with this song!!! Dreamlover is one of my all time favorites from her and I love how it's so upbeat and I love Mariah's high note at the very beginning!! Whenever Dreamlover is on, I dance and sing along to it!!

I love all the versions of Dreamlover too. There is the album version, the Club Joint Mix (featured on the Hero CD single), Def Club Mix, Def Instrumental, USA Love Dub, Eclipse Dub and the Def Tribal Mix and I love all of them!!! There were two CD singles released for Dreamlover. One has 6 different versions, the album version, Def Club Mix, Def Instrumental, USA Love Dub, Eclipse Dub and the Def Tribal Mix. My favorite club mixes are the Def Club Mix because you'll hear this piano throughout the entire song and the Eclipse Dub because of this really awesome and unique music throughout, it's so awesome!!!. The other CD single for Dreamlover has the album version and Do You Think Of Me? which is one of Mariah's best B-sides!!

Do You Think Of Me? is another amazing ballad that just totally takes my breath away and if you don't have it, you need to get it as soon as possible!!! I love Do You Think Of Me? musically, vocally, and lyrically, it's just so incredible!!! Please get this CD single with Do You Think Of Me? as soon as possible if you don't have it!!!

Dreamlover is originally from the 1993 album, Music Box which I also own and I also recommend getting the CD single of Hero which has THE BEST Mariah Carey B-Side EVER, Everything Fades Away!!! This incredible ballad, Everything Fades Away, takes my breath away even more than Do You Think Of Me? but not by a whole lot since both Everything Fades Away and Do You Think Of Me? are so incredible and powerful!!! Mariah's songs are so amazing!! Songs like these are the reason Mariah is #1!!!

For some unexplainable reason, the Def Tribal Mix on this maxi-single brings out the "native" in me. It's just one of those bass-laden tracks that makes one want to return to his primal, unbridled beginnings.

Actually, "Dreamlover" in its original LP form is quite good. But, the aforementioned mix takes the singer and song to a totally different, and more exciting level.
