- Lil Kim did well on this one...

So, Lil Kim is back with Notorious K.I.M. Let's hope that it's as good as "Hardcore", her debut (and slammin) album from back in the 96. It was "Crush On You (remix)" that really set it off (I know you seen me in the video...true!) - that's when I got the album and I was NOT dissapointed at all. Let me break it down for the newcomers:

1. Intro - Hilarious skit featuring Lil Cease

2. Big Momma Thang - One of the best songs feat. Jay-Z & Lil Cease

3. No Time - Her debut single feat. Puff Daddy (song is still hot!)

4. Spend A Little Doe - O.K...

5. Take It! - Hilarious Skit w/B.I.G. and Cease

6. Crush On You - On this version, Cease takes the whole thing, but it's still tight!

7. Drugs - The beat is sick! Grimy, like Black Rob (this song is one of my personal favs)

8. Scheamin - some ol, crazy 'skit'!

9. Queen B@#$H - If you liked "I Can Love You (better than she can...)" from Mary J. Blige, you'll love this song (where Blige got the sample) B.I.G. has a cool one line verse in here!

10. Dreams - Hilarious! She's callin out names on this song about who's hot and who's not!

11. M.A.F.I.A. Land - kinda serious, like 2Pac's early stuff

12. We Don't Need It - just plain naughty (I liked the version on the Sunset Park soundtrack better though)

13. Not Tonight - (The original of Ladies Night...very So So Def-ish, with JD all over it)

14. Player Haters - skit

15. **** You - A cool peek into Junior Mafia - they should do another album!

So, as you can see, I liked this album so much I broke it down by track! This album is probably the best (consistently) by a female MC recently. Yes, it's nasty and arguably derogatory to women, but if you take it like it is, ENTERTAINMENT, then you'll enjoy. Lil Kim will have a tough act to follow for this one. Stay tuned for my review of Notorious K.I.M...

I didn't really pay attention to Lil Kim until Notorious Kim in 1999. In fact I didn't buy this album until last year and I only got it because I had all her other cd's. This one however is by far some of her best work. This really is a ''hardcore'' album. Kim goes raw and hard on tracks like ''Queen Bitch'', ''No Time'' and ''Drugs''. Overall I luv this album but I wish she had been more easy on all the sex talk. It became very redundant and some tracks like ''Not Tonight'' fall short because of it. Still love this cd and this is one of the best albums by a female rap star ever!

- Seriously The Best Female Rap Album of all time.

Don't let the name fool you, Lil'Kim to me and to many others who have listen to hip hop over the years know for a fact you can't get any better lyrics then this woman. She calls herself the Queen Bi*ch for a reason and her many fans as well as haters know her as the Queen of Rap. Hardcore proves that as well, this album is a classic, Rated 5 stars by Rolling Stone. The albums addictive beats and outstanding sexual lyrics is just 1 of many skills Kim can do, she also raps about the streets as well as relationships that gone wrong. Songs like No Time and crush on you (the Lil'Cease version no Lil'Kim in this song unless you get the Not Tonite single that contains her on the the track) are very catchy and Drugs and others stand out as well.If you love hip hop make sure you add this to your collection you won't regret it.

- Hip-Hop's Millie Jackson: Queen Bee is #1

Lil' Kim boldly went where no female rapper went before with this joint. She openly discuss female sexuality, what women want from men, and what things they do that turn them off. It talks about how oral sex is important to many women on Big Momma Thing, We Don't Need It, and Not Tonight. This is for those who are mature in mind and body.
