Kylie Minogue may not be the best singer, and the songs may be formulaic and fluffy, but songs such as _Hand On Your Heart_ are catchy and surgary enough to make you forget your troubles for a while. If you're into catchy, fun, and melodic pop tunes, then Kylie Minogue delivers a nearly perfect set for you.

For those that don't know, Kylie is Australian. She featured in a soap opera, and was voted most popular personality of the year in 1988. Around this time Loco-motion was released, and because the soap opera was also extremely popular in England, Kylie was a hit there too. The album is pure fluff, but infectious fluff. She did 5 albums with Stock/Aitken/Waterman, all of which Kylie had no control over the content. When her contract was up, she moved into songwriting and producing herself. These personal albums are alot better, but at the time "Kylie" the album was released, you must remember that popular music at the time was all pretty much fluffy pop tunes. This album is still great. For pure fun and daydreaming about lost love etc, this is the album to buy. It's simple, feel-good music.

This American release of the British powerhouse recording star contains a sampling of the types of songs which keep your feet tapping and a smile on your face. The Loco-Motion makes it hard to sit still while listening. I Should Be So Lucky is set to a beat in a European style which draws the listener to the lyrics. In summary, this is a CD that makes the listener feel good and just plain "enjoy the music."

This is Kylie's very first CD it sounds great all the songs are excellent,it's a great CD for all her fans of any age to own,this is one of my favorites.
