If you are a Kenny Rogers fan, you'll love this set. There's no new territory broken here; just plain old love song covers. None of these songs were hits for Rogers. It's just a collection of standard hits culled together for a good sales ploy. Some are great and others are snorers. However, considering that it is a three CD Box Set for such a low price, you can't lose. These songs could easily have fit on two discs, but quantity is quantity and Mr. Rogers knows all about that.

Kenny Rogers is one of the most romantic voices in music world. He adds his own emotional singing to every musical piece that he sings. In this Cd, there are many classic love songs and most important point here is that they are sung by Kenny Rogers. This set of romantic, emotional songs are a must for special moments. Share this CD with your beloved.

First I just want to say that I'm a big fan of Kenny Rogers so I might be biased but I'll try to be objective.

Many songs in this 3 CDs are not Kenny Rogers original songs, but still very good love songs (and many actually are better than his original songs. Sorry Kenny.). I enjoyed the love songs that he performed in this album. Love is a many splendored things, You send me, Misty, I only have eyes for you, it had to be you etc.. are all very classic songs and timeless... and Kenny performed it just fine.. just make sure you try it out (the samples given by amazon) before buying...

This CD is also sells at a bargain. Just get it and I think you will like it.

I went to see Kenny Rogers live recently (his greatest hits and chrismas song concert.) I had a blast, simply amazing. I recommend all Kenny Rogers fans to visit his concert Live at least once. (We never know how many more years he will do his tour but I do hope for many more years to come)

Over the years, whilst recording many different types of music, Kenny Rogers has probably recorded more love songs than anything else. This CD (or 3 cd's it should be said!) is a good example and shows why he has been dubbed as "King of love songs" and "King of MOR". Here Kenny mixes some of his own hit's "She Believes in me", "Through the years", "Lady" and "You decorated my life" (all #1 chart hits and all wonderful love songs) with many covers of other standards such as "I only have eyes for you", "You light up my life", "The wind beneath my wings", "Unforgettable", "Have I told you lately" and so many more wonderful songs. This CD originally called "Vote for love" was available as a TV album on one of the major TV channels in the USA (either CBS or NBC i think) and was a huge success. Now available at a low price of $15 (that's less than $6-50 a CD in this box set, including postage) it is a bargain for any true fan of love songs.
