Review - Amazon.com :
After a debut album with Capricorn Record's ill-fated country division, Kenny Chesney has come back on this major-label effort with legendary producer Barry Beckett (Bob Dylan, Dire Straits). Chesney cowrote four of the 10 numbers with the rest coming from such Music Row pros as Bob DiPiero, Bob McDill, and Skip Ewing. There's no trace of a rural twang or working-class angst in Chesney's inoffensive pop crooning, and the songs' simplistic platitudes--served up over slow ballads and bouncy two-steps--prove utterly forgettable. --Geoffrey Himes Customer review - 2000-03-10
- One of the Best Albums...Ever!Kenny Chesney sings one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard with "Grandpa Told Me So". Perhaps I'm a little biased, having been raised by my grandparents, Jacob and Louise Flaton, but this song is so deep and heartfelt that it illustrates one of the most important qualities that music can do; it lifts your soul to heights of joy that cannot be expressed in words. Kenny, if you're reading this, I want you to know that I LOVE THIS ALBUM! Well done! Very well done!

- Kenny Chesney Can SING!This CD is excellent! Kenny Chesney can really sing. He has a lot of talent. Also, he's a very good performer. I went to one of his live shows. On this CD "All I Need To Know", my favorite song is Grandpa Told Me So. Other good ones are Fall In Love, Honey Would You Stand By Me, Between Midnight And Daylight, and The Tin Man. The rest of the songs on the album are good too, and there are NO bad songs on the album. This is one of those CDs that you could play over and over again and never get tired of hearing it. I would highly recommend this CD to any country music fan. Buy it today, you'll be glad you did!

- Kenny's WorldI'm slowly becoming a Kenny chesney fan. He's sort of becoming my favourite country male singer. I started off with "No Shoes, No Shirt..." and it took awhile to become more accoustmed to Kenny's style of voice. After hearing his album for awhile I got used to it, and slowly became a fan. I was then intrigued enough to start venturing into his other albums, and I found this one at Tower for a good price. I really like this album alot. It has alot of depth and heart. Kenny's voice has alot of soul in it, and sometimes I hear a hint of sadness in it, which makes it more interesting to listen to. There have been times where certain songs made me cry because I was feeling his pain. My favourite song off here is "The Tin Man". The lyrics are so beautiful and his voice is right on. My other 2 are "Granpa" and "Me and you", a classic country ballad. You can best beleive I will search out other Kenny Chesney albums, he's a great artist.

- Late review but this is one of Kenny's BEST!This is one of my favorite KC albums. There's a lot of fun up-tempo tracks including my favorites "fall in love" and "honey would you stand by me" and it also contains some of his best ballads in "all I need to know" and "me and you". From beginning to end you will totally enjoy this CD. You will never be disappointed with a Kenny Chesney album. Get them all!

- School GeekIf you are a big fan of Kenny, these are great old songs of his when he first began. If you are a fan of his more recent music, one might not appreciate the stronger country flavor of this cd. I love all of his stuff. It shows his evolution in his career.
