First heard trying to calm Ol' Dirty Bastard on "Got Your Money" from his Nigga Please, 20-year-old Kelis now appears with her own album. Multi-threat production team the Neptunes turn the aptly named Kaleidoscope into the same kind of playground they provided for ODB, and even singing the masterminds' songs, Kelis quickly establishes it as her own hip-hop-wise R&B turf. Already gaining attention for the ranting "Caught Out There" ("I hate you so much right now!"), the disc proves this unique singer equally as convincing in other complex moods, such as a comic take on romantic pain ("Game Show") and an offbeat memory of childhood ("Roller Rink"). - J. Jones ON KelisI just listened to the few songs that were available and I think this album should go plantinum as many times as possible. Her music is so touching, I almost cried listening to "Get Along With You". The beats to her songs are so original and they make you want to blast the radio to share her talent with all the neighbors and they'll have no choice but to go buy it theirselves.

- Escape from the ordinary..ENTER HERELike the "music fan" who previewed this before, I truly wished she used other producers on this CD. But overall it's definitely different. I love her voice and the music complements it well. This CD is for those who are open-minded and appreciates the alternatives to the traditional R&B/hip-hop.

- DifferentThe CD has a wide rage of music,very creative.My only regret is that she did not use more producers.
