Review - Amazon.com :
True to the title of his #1 debut album, R&B superstar Keith Sweat is out to Make It Last Forever. Two decades after his initial breakthrough, Sweat’s new album Just Me more than proves he’s still the master of the slow jam, delivering deep soul grooves in the tradition of his classic hits—and sounding right in sync with 21st century R&B. Harlem-born Sweat first rose to fame at the height of the new jack swing era, and Teddy Riley, his celebrated producer from back in the day, collaborates with Sweat on the Just Me track "The Floor." Other highlights include "Butterscotch," featuring Athena Cage (who vocalized with Sweat on his #1 R&B mega-hit "Nobody"), "Love You Better" featuring Keyshia Cole, "Suga Suga Suga" with Paisley Bettis, and the album-opening "Somebody" featuring Chris "F.L.O" Conner.Customer review - 2008-05-13
- We have lost Keith Sweat1.) One of the weakest Sweat's albums. Awful and cheap trying to be modern and commercial. No live instruments, stupid loops, cheap programming, primitive lyrics. K.Sweat have noting to say any more..I advise him to think about what true music should be..beautiful, meaningful,
Go back and check 90s music Keith! Stop doin this trendy commercial so called "r&b" in Akon style
What about jazz Keith? )) You can check what Zhane have been doig with jazz back in the day. It was MUSIC
2)This is the second part of my review about this album and i have to say that i decided to edit this review because of many fanatic reviews dissin the "haters"
Which kind of music do you give 5 stars, fellows? - classic commercial urban r&b, welded on all worthless canons of 2008. Once the 90s left, the very last of good mainstream R&B left. No more ingenuity, originality, no more real instruments, no more deep, meaningful subject matter. It's always the same melodies and the same boring lyrics., lets freak, i wanna sex you.... Can somebody tell me what Keith is singing about on his last 3 albums? "I'll trade a million bucks", "Just Wann Sex You"? It's mega primitive tunes for youth.. The last of his songs wich i can call "qualitative" are "Just Another Day" and "In Your Eyes" from 98. 10 (!!!) years old. These songs have CLASS.These songs were sung stretchedly, lingeringly, beautifully, with pauses, fine articulation, with emotion,
But how can be "Just Me" album rated in 5 stars?!!! No lyrics, no good sining, no music, no decent bassline, no melody. only fake studio beats overpowering everything
Keith just makin his money, he want to sell his records. He's more businessman than the musician. And all of you who gave this album 5 stars just helped him to make his money!

- He's backIts been quite awhile since we've seen a new Keith Sweat cd.
But with Just Me the wait is over and it feels like he never left as his voice is still recognizable and solid as ever before.
Just Me has 12 tracks and each one of them could easily be a solid single release on the R&B/Pop charts. With such artists as Paisley Bettis, Keyshia Cole and Athena Cage on various songs it only serves to show how Keith continues to churn out great music for whatever purpose you like.
Songs of note on Just Me:
2. The Floor
3. Girl of My Dreams
4. Sexiest Girl
5. Butterscotch (Athena Cage)
7. Suga, Suga, Suga (Paisley Bettis) currently charted on R&B charts
9. Love You Better (Keyshia Cole)
12. Teach Me
The cd as a whole is on par with some of his earlier releases (Make It Last Forever, Keith Sweat). But make no mistake this one isn't a rehash of his earlier works each and every song here. Is something that you really need to hear and listen to as well. So make it a point of getting "Just Me" by Keith Sweat and keep supporting on the singers out their still doing music their way and very well. I might add.

- Check this CD outI'm very impressed with this CD. I usually download my music but I had to buy this CD. I've always been a big fan of Keith Sweat. Some people did't like him because they say he whines in his music. My stand on that is if you are a true Keith Sweat fan, none of that mattered. Whining has always been his style I mean come on, isn't that what made the women hot all over? His new "Just Me" CD is straight on with alot less whining for all the haters. The first time I put it in my car I was like wow! Keith is back in full affect with this new hit just like the oldschool jams he would woo the ladies with and put the fellas in the mood. Keith is back ladies and gentlemen! Big ups!

- Amazing...I grew up listening to Keith Sweat and he was always known as a whiner. This is the only cd I listen to back and forth to work. I LOVE this cd. Keith Sweat has come back hard. On one or two records he does whine, but the cd is great. I've been spreading the word about this cd. I just hope his label does right by him. The music on this cd is amazing to me.
