Thelonious Monk Quartet w/ John Coltrane- Sweet & Lovely
From the album ~Thelonious Monk Quartet with John Coltrane - At Carnegie Hall~ comes this sugary & irresistable treat...I got the inspiration of this video by the peanut brittle that I'm killing right now. The description is influenced also by the ever-ivoking & thoughtful Braenchild, RabbitWonderful and MissFunkenetelect who always has a willingness to read my craziness ;D The song, now that I think about it, to me describes collected, serene children walking along the side walk going through the everyday course of there life. About half way through the compostion, they spot a new candy store and go crazy dashing inside. They first start with stealing bits and nips but then they get out of control. I call this part the "Sugar Rush" Whimsical and unsound are the children as they cause choas in the store. They are ran down by the adults who attempt to catch them. They are finally caught and "eared" out of the store. Meloncholy takes them for a few seconds, then they are back on their way as they were secretly happy to the stashings they hid in their pockets.
