John Mellencamp on his son's taste in music

Rocker John Mellencamp's son Speck, 11, is getting older, and with that he's becoming more like dad. John told Rolling Stone, "He's learning how to play guitar. He's serious - he said he wants to be as good as Jimi Hendrix. I told him that was a tall order, so he said he wants to at least be as good as John Mayer!" Source: Rolling Stone, Issue 1019, p. 28
