- Last Experience (not quite)What we have here is a collection of songs from the second half of Jimi's 1969 Albert Hall performance in London. The title says it's a soundtrack recording, however, the motion picture has not been "officialy released", and only available on bootleg videos. Tracks listing is strange, repeating Room Full of Mirrors twice, and Bleeding Heart three times(!). Sound quality is a bit muffled. Wild Thing is heavily edited (less than 2 minutes) and way out of tune. Not bad if its cheap enough, just as long as you know what your getting! BTW, the Last Experience concert was Aug '69 in Denver - and - these were not the "last sounds ever recorded by Jimi" as the cover states!!

- This album is a must have for true Hendrix fansI've had this album in vinyl since it first came out years ago. I know it has been criticized for sound quality, cheezyness, etc, but the fact still remains it is live Hendrix. The band has no chance of rerecording it with better sound quality, and I am not sure I would want it to. You will see for yourself, it has charm just the way it is. I enjoy all of the selections, and you will too, if you really like Hendrix. Just turn up the volume and forget the "sound quality" (whatever that is supposed to mean) and listen to the greatest electric guitar musician we ever had.

- Hendrix-Good, but not the greatestThis cd is very good and has the essential songs by Jimi. However, it is not hte best of his to be on the shelf, but is not one to be ignored. May he rest in peace.

- LD. HEADPHONE LISTENING FOR ENLIGHTENED LISTENERSListening to these cuts while reading the program notes offered in "ELECTRIC GYPSY" will help everyone who partakes of Jimi reach fresher understandings of Jimi's potential...reconsider "Room Full of Mirrors" with clearer understanding...see "Voodoo Child" dancing in your heart! The Program Qoute is at the end of the color pix in "ELECTRIC GYPSY"

- Some parts are listenableBuy this cd if only to hear 'Little Ivey' The ending of 'Voodoo Chile' has been cut out, so it doesn't sound complete (why?) Purple Haze sounds like it was played by a drunk roadie, I guess Jimi was looking to the future and was tired of playing old songs. C# Blues and the short versions of Bleeding Heart and Room full of mirrors are actually 3 minute cuts from the extended versions. Like we would't notice?? Total listenable time = 29 min. Still, 'Little Ivey' (or is it little wing?) and the extended versions make it worth the ten bucks.
