Jewel Kilcher, conocida simplemente como Jewel, es una cantante, compositora de canciones y actriz estadounidense. Con su primer álbum «Pieces of You», publicado en 1995, obtuvo un tremendo éxito vendiendo más de 12 millones de copias en Estados Unidos. Los sencillos más famosos de éste álbum fueron “You Were Meant for Me”, “Who Will Save Your Soul” y “Foolish Games”. Debido a su éxito, cantó el himno nacional estadounidense en la Super Bowl de 1998.
