Jewel Kilcher, commonly known just as Jewel, is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Her debut album, «Pieces of You», was released in 1995 and was a huge success and eventually sold over 12 million copies in the U.S. alone. The album spawned the Top 10 hits “You Were Meant for Me”, “Who Will Save Your Soul” and “Foolish Games”. Due to her successes, she was chosen to sing the American national anthem at the opening of the Super Bowl in 1998.
