- J 2 tha L-O is a B 2 tha U-Y!
"J to Tha L-O" seems more like an act of necessity because two of J.Lo's biggest hits(the remixes of "I'm Real" and "Ain't it Funny") didn't actually appear on the original version of "J.Lo" released last year and never have had a home of their own. This quickly produced project turns out to be Jennifer Lopez's greatest package! She's a solid singer, she's got the best hired hands in the business tightening up her album tracks, and she's a nice package. This CD is centered around her biggest hits and less of "On the 6" and "J.Lo's" filler(thankfully). This album is just pure joyride from start to finish! With everything great on top 40 radio, spiked with dance floor intensity. There's stamina and consistency here because these twelve tracks focus less on the Latin, R&B, and hip-hop elements of her originals, and shows what she's really capable of. "Walking on Sunshine," is the album's standout track, a stellar mix of samba and filtered disco influences melded with Euro pop. There's also a strong flava of '80s dance and pop music which gives the best tracks their swing on Pablo Flores' rabid Miami Sound Machine-style remake of "Let's Get Loud", P Diddy's new-wave hip pop splash "Feelin' So Good", and Hex Hector's remix of "Waiting for Tonight," which plays out with Everything but the Girl style. "Waiting..." was da bomb when it first was released, so it's no surprise that it was included on this CD. "If You Had My Love" is a dance floor ballad, while the sweet beats on "I'm Real" and "Ain't It Funny" are equally irresistible. All said and done, Lopez has never sounded hotter! It's all just plain great stuff. I highly recommend checking out Jennifer's latest, and greatest, attempt. I gave it 4 of 5 stars because it was not all in the dance genre that I prefer, but don't let that keep you from checking it out. If my review was helpful to you, then please don't forget to vote. THANKS!

- J.Lo's remixes top her originals.... unlike most remix CDs.
Jennifer Lopez has done it again with wonderful remixes. Her latin-inspired dance tunes show off her great vocals (as well as her producer's ability to work with a sound board.) Her styles range from hip hip to R&B, and of course her latin roots. This remix album is great for those who love to dance... every song makes you want to get on the dance floor. These remixes bring new (and often better) life to her hit songs, as well as some other songs you wouldn't recognise unless you owned one of her previous CDs. The only real complaint is about her remix of "Play"... I liked the original much better. Although her use of hip-hop in her music shows her "hard lovin' strait thuggin'" style, I can't help but wonder if J.Lo has teamed up with EVERY male hip-hop star on this CD... it seems like every other song has a male rapper "guest star". Maybe I'll count next time I listen... Well, all in all, this CD is a must have on my list.

- More J.Lo!
Anything with Jennifer in it is great. This is even better! I really loved her I'm real remix with Ja Rule and her "If you had my love" dark child mix which she performed at the Fashion awards. Now I can have them. Almost all the remixes are great. Most of the songs are made into R&B mixes but others are also made into dance mix tracks. The album also includes Jennifer's latest billboard top 20 single, "the ain't it funny remix" again with Ja Rule. It has also been made into an R&B track. Although it's not in any way like the original ain't it funny, I still love it.

But the song that's the major hit of the album is of coarse, J.Lo's I'm real remix. This catchy, rhythmic R&B track is hard not to like. It's for all Anastasia, Ja Rule, Mary J. Blige, and Macy Gray fans. Speaking of which, the album also consists of a duet sung with Anastasia. Overall it's a great album and is for all Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, and Christina Aguilera fans. It's fantastic!

- Any J.Lo fan will LOVE this!
I thought this CD was great! i am a J.lo fan, but i wasn't too happy with her old CD's. On j to tha lo she made a remix of all of her good songs, plus the song from her new movie ,Enough(which i personally loved). i think she did a good job on this CD and picked the right people to work with (Ja Rule, NAS, etc.) The only thing i would change about this CD is that some songs get a little boring after awhile, and i think she could've spiced things up a bit more. If you don't have this CD i highly recomend it!
