- Shawn Carter's True Vision
In the intro to the first song, Jay is lamenting the death of a friend that has died. The words he left to his friends and family were those immortalized by the Great Sinatra, "I did it my way." So, Jay-Z says, "I have no choice but to do it my way." Jay-Z succeeds admirably. His vision and intelligence, his focus, are so clear on this first single and the style is very similar to his first album, although it was not a great commercial success. He was forced to make radio friendly bangers with his consecutive CDs, but to see how the man that has now mastered to rap game first started out, I suggest this single as well as Reasonable Doubt.

- Rippin it!!!!
A rare gem of hip hop but dig in the crates and its reward is phenomenal. 2 songs from Jigga that will impress anyone who wants real hard flows, rhymes, & a classic feel. A+

- I love this song!
I like Jay better back then. Too bad being commercial sells better. This is a really good song with great beat and lyrics. You should buy it.
