Jars of Clay is a popular Christian alternative pop group. The group's sound has varied over the years as the band has experimented with pop, folk, rock, trip-hop, gospel, and hymnsong. Its self-titled album featured layered acoustic guitars over programmed trip-hop beats. "Flood" was the band's biggest crossover hit, and hit #37 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 12 on the Modern Rock charts. The following albums saw large shifts in style. |

Creation Festival concert cancelled at last minute (UPDATED) (North Platte Bulletin)

The Creation Festival concert planned Monday night at the D&N Event Center was cancelled at the last minute. According to event organizers, the bands that were slated to perform, including Jars of Clay and Thousand Foot Krutch, pulled up stakes and left town in the afternoon.

SUMMERSIDE – The Harvest House ministry is getting help in its quest to reopen its doors. The transition house for men closed in 2007, but manager Chris Blacquiere since opened a volunteer-run restaurant, Jars of Clay Café, at the site to help support it.
