Jack’s Mannequin is the new project of Andrew McMahon who is also the vocalist, pianist and main songwriter of the band Something Corporate. The name Jack’s Mannequin originated from one of McMahon’s songs called "Dear Jack", which was written about a friend of his whose brother was diagnosed with childhood leukemia. Andrew himself was diagnosed with leukemia on June 1, 2005 and cancelled a show for the first time ever when he received the call from his doctor. |

Andrew will be joined by Jack’s guitarist and backing vocalist Bobby Raw, for a rare solo performance of their latest single “Swim,” from their current album The Glass Passenger.

Back in 2005, musician Andrew McMahon had a camera ready to document his journey with his new band, Jack's Mannequin. During the band's first headlining tour that same year, McMahon visited a doctor with a few seemingly minor health concerns and received a shocking diagnosis.
