I wasnt around when the Isleys were groovin in the 60's and 70's but i can appreciate it. They show no signs of age with this release either. From start to finish this is an album that will please any true r/b fan. Here are my picks as best of the album;

Slow is the way excellent sex song. uses ron's infamous high voice to set the bedroom mood. beautiful background music and nice cameo by producer of the record keith sweat

Mission to Please R. Kelly makes a song that has been featured on the Isleys latest released geatest hits box set. Cant-Miss song with R. and Ron

Tears moves out of the bedroom and into to emotions with this Another cant-miss record

What else can i say? good to the last drop. pick it up if u like the Isleys and pick it up if u love r/b. Sleeper pick: Lets lay together another r kelly and Isley collaboration

It's no coincidence that 'Mission To Please' brought the Isleys back to prominence. Ronald was rejoined by Marvin and Ernie and with Angela Winbush contributing her voice and production talents to the album it couldn't fail (went platinum). The first 7 songs are pure soul. 'Let's Lay Together' is the killer slow jam on this cd while 'Floatin' On Your Love' is a duet by Ronald and Angela Winbush with Ernie firin' up the guitar. Also, the cover of 'Holding Back The Years' was surprisingly good. The last 3 songs I can do without. Ronald please drop the Mr. Biggs crap, don't let R.Kelly produce more than 3 songs an album, and Chris, Rudolph, and Marvin, come on back to the group.

this disc mixes comtempary r-n-b with the isley's trademark r-n-b really well. ernie still can rock on an axe with anybody in the business and ronald isley is singing better than ever.angela winbush-isley also showcases her many talents on this project writing&producing and singing great as well.

I've had this cd for about a year and just decided to listen to it. I put it on one night while cooking dinner. The sensuality of the music and the body caressing lyrics just drove my wild with excitement. If you desire a sensual, romantic evening with someone special, light some candles, grab a bottle of wine, and lay back. I guarantee a lot of sparks will fly.

I had this CD before and it was stolen. I am buying it again because it is worth it. This CD will make you fall in love with your lady all over again.
