Buy the three studio albums first.

Only then get this: its the best value of the various bootleg collections.

This is, in my opinion, a bootleg and a very bad one - no matter what sellers are saying. The sound is bad!

Still, after a while you get used to it and actually start enjoying it. Some of the tracks have slightly better sound and these tracks show you how raw and andrenaline-filled power Iggy & The Stooges had back in those days. This is not an album for the masses. This is for true fans and collectors only.

This is yet another killer album by the stooges (with Williamson). A little more bluesy than the funhouse but it still retains the classic stooges energy plus Iggy's trademark howling and freeform caotic lyrics. The addition of a keyboard is a little disturbing at first but it grew on me and even now seems to accentuate the Williamson's noodling.

There are 3 songs repeated from the Raw Power album. "Death trip" and "Hard to beat" seem to be taken directly from the Raw Power album, but there is a different version of the song "Raw power." The real treat however is the unreleased stuff on the rest of the album. If you are a stooges fan, this is a must have.

Oh the live cd is terrible. I think Iggy was way too wasted to perform that night. I listened to it once and put it away for good. However dispite the live cd's shortcomings, this cd set is definintly worth buying (the studio stuff is great).

This is a frustrating collection of studio outtakes, rehearsal takes, and live stuff. It's frustrating because, for the most part, the sound is terrible. Muddy, unbalanced, with some instruments and vocals buried in the mix and some way out front. There are still some OK cuts, and the power of Iggy and the Stooges is still present, but unfortunately it just leaves you wanting more!
