HATEBREED se formaron en noviembre de 1994 en Bridgeport y New Haven por Jamey Jasta, Dave Russo, Larry Dwyer y Chris Beattie. Empezaron grabando una demo de tres temas con la que consiguieron hacerse hueco en los garitos. En 1996 editaron el Ep “Under The Knife” y un año más tarde, “Satisfaction Is The Death Of Desire” bajo Victory Records. Este disco fue record de ventas de la compañía y con él la banda entró fuerte en la escena metalcore americana, dicho éxito les llevó a girar con grupos del calibre de Slayer, Napalm Death o Entombed. |
