- This guy's 11?As a native New Orleanian I've been blessed to follow Harry's career in person and on CD. (Did you know that Harry Connick, Sr. is the District Attorney of New Orleans and has a CD of his own?) This is a phenomenal compilation of classic jazz for a young man who's talent is incredible even at age 11. Muskrat Ramble is perhaps my favorite classic jazz tune and Harry delivers with musical talent beyond his years. I don't know how else to critique this kid except to say that tracks one through nine are no less wonderful than musicians far older and more established. - Dixieland as it was meant to be.This is an album of good, old-fashioned dixieland standards played by a great group, with Harry Connick Jr. at the piano. Although he's only 11 years old, he plays some fun and creative solos, and in general, the CD is wonderful for all lovers of dixieland, and will put you in a good mood instantaneously. It's very up-beat, and fun to "groove" to! I really loved it!
