Into The Light is a very enjoyable CD. There are thirteen songs on here (the last one is actually a Spanish version of the hit "Coming Out Of The Dark.") The music is very diverse and has an even mix of fast, slow and mid-tempo songs. It's a very inspiring CD, especially since it was released after Gloria recovered from her bus accident. The songs are uplifting and lighthearted, but also contain important messages about not giving up, etc. I'm grateful for this CD and that Gloria was able to record it.

Wow! This CD has some of the greatest songs I've ever heard! "Live For Loving You" is probably one of my favorite songs, and it is here on this CD. Very good music to dance to! "Mama Yo Can't Go" is also another good one. "Desde La Oscuridad" the Spanish version of "Coming Out of the Dark" is a very catchy tune. I was singing it for days! Get this CD!

Gloria Estefan has at least one hit on this Cd called Coming Out of the Dark, but when she goes into the "syntheseisers
land" on some of the tracks it`s a let down from the " Estefan quality" we love, (at least some of us do, hopefully). This is
to much "discoland" sometimes, on track 3 What goes around she sounds like Donna Summer. Nothing wrong with that,for sure, but it doesnt fit here style at all. There is much to much syntheisers over the soundpicture. But at least Track 9 Language of Love brings some joy into your mind. Its "hip" enough, and a good listning experience "all trough". Track 12 Live for Loving You, shines also with "Estefan quality". When Track 15 Don`t wanna loose you in portugeguese, is one of the best tracks from the minor masterpiece CD cuts both ways, something is wrong.
But anyway Gloria Estefan shines trough sometimes, but this one has it`s ups and downs, that`s for sure.

The Cuban hootchie cootchie mama comes back after breaking her back in an accident. I guess we're all supposed to love her for surviving. On the basis of this music, I can't muster up any feeling at all. The main hit from this, "Live for Loving You" got tons of radio play, and for no good reason. It is a trite waste of time. Cliched lyrics set to light Latin beats makes for a sour cocktail. The title song isn't much better; it got old after hearing it once, not a good sign. Stick with Miami Sound Machine's Primitive Love album; at least there are a couple of decent tunes on it, namely "Words Get in the Way", "Bad Boy" and "Falling In Love".

Gloria Estefan's Into The Light cd is great to have,because i feel her pain when she got into that accident with her tour bus!!!!!! The album is also a fun too!!!!!!! GO OUT AND BUY THIS CD NOW!!!!!!!
