Description :
Bin 11892. Australian single for their recent hit, in aslimline jewel case, backs it with two tracks unavailableanywhere else, 'Driving Lesson' and 'Dog New Tricks' (ThePal Mix)!Customer review - 2000-01-14
- Depressing....The way it should beThis single off their first album is very enjoyable. The 2 extra tracks are "Girl Don't Come" and "sleep". The last track "Sleep" is very slow with Shirly singing in that sexy voice of hers and a slow piano playing. It is depressing, just the way I like it. My only complaint is it is not long enough. It runs under 2 min. or so.

- shirley at her bestAwesome as always...i bought this import several years back to complete my collection of all things Garbage...Girl Don't Come will definately have you singing along with it's hard edged lyrics and infectios beat, Sleep is a very melanchonly song with deep lyrics and of course we all know the title track. Buy this.

- All I want to do...is...Tracklisting:
1. Only Happy When It Rains
2. Girl Don't Come
3. Sleep
'Only' is Garbage's first widely popular song, and for good reason! The dynamic and emotion of this very nicely executed song make for an instant music classic!
The b-sides are great too! My personal favorite 'Sleep' is a very haunting track and worth the price of the CD.

- Range and SatisfactionAlthough disappointing because it only contains 3 songs, this single does redeem itself because those 3 songs are quite varied. "Only Happy When It Rains" has hard guitar riffs and driving beats, yet remains poppy. "Girl Don't Come" has the same effect, but replaces poppy with dark. Finally, "Sleep" is quiet and ethereal and really shows of the lower notes in Shirley's range.
