G-Unit is an American hip hop group formed in 2002. The group's founding members, 50 Cent, Lloyd Banks, and Tony Yayo all grew up and rapped together. Their debug album «Beg for Mercy» was released in 2003, then the group signed Nashville rapper Young Buck during Tony Yayo's prison sentence.
