Our Burden is Light

A redemption-drama with the soundtrack of our lives, composed by Nate Mendel of the Foo Fighters and music by the Foo Fighters, The Dave Matthews band, Tom Waits and David Gray. Nothing in painter Karen Moone's life fits. Like the punk music her boyfriend sings, everything is disjointed, distorted and disturbed. Karen's father has been away for some time and in dealing with her mother's loneliness and depression, the fabric binding their lives has become frayed to the point of breaking. The breaking point finally occurs when Karen's mother commits suicide.
