Tra questi ultimi sono da annoverare i Franz Ferdinand, band che, questo le va assolutamente riconosciuto, è stata in grado di risollevare le sorti di un rock inglese che al momento del loro esordio (2004) era decisamente schiacciato da quello made in USA. I Franz Ferdinand con la loro verve creativa e comunicativa sono riusciti subito a fare centro! Sarà anche per questo motivo che la band il 1° giugno pubblicherà ufficialmente un nuovo album chiamato Blood che altro non è che una versione remixata in versione dub/elettronica dell’ultimo album Tonight. Un disco non completamente nuovo ma una sorta di rivisitazione con cui i Franz Ferdinand mostrano nuovamente come il loro rock sia votato all’ispirazione dance.
