Description :
This is the perfect introduction to the UK's premier Blues band. Features Mac's legendary front man Peter Green at the absolute peak of his playing powers. Disc 1 finds the band exploring their Blues roots. Disc 2 catches them in the studio, often in wildly freeform, experimental mode. Disc 3 presents Mac at their optimum ,Live! Sanctuary. 2005.
Customer review - 2007-01-16
- Exquisite
While I think a couple tracks could have been edited from each disc without any appreciable detriment, this collection is overall brilliant. Both its range and power testify to the songwriting genius of Peter Green and his fellow Mayall alumni.
