- Fat Joe at his Best!
Not since Jealous One's Envy has Fat Joe dropped an album like this. The lyrics are on point, but what really stands out is the production. His previous album had repetative beats and too much Terror Squad and Big Pun allocated time. This time 'Joey Crack' enlists some of the best producers and does minimum collaboration outside his camp with the likes of Ludacris, M.O.P., Petey Pablo, and others. One of the best (and unfortunately short) songs is "It's OK" which has a clever sample of Cypress Hill's "How I Could Just Kill a Man". Other songs to look out for are "Opposites Attract" with Remy Martin and "What's Luv?" with Ja Rule and Ashanti. Let's not forget the single "We Thuggin'" with R. Kelly or the even better remix with Noreaga, Remy Martin, and Busta Rhymes. Overall this album does NOT disappoint.

- Where Fat Joe went wrong
I could somewhat tolerate Fat Joe after this album. I liked J.O.E and Don Cartegena but after Pun's death Fat Joe lost his mind and has been downward spiraling into wackness starting with this album. Before I get to what's bad let me tell you what kept this album from frisbee treatment. My Lifestyle is okay. M.O.P saved Fight Club(also feat Petey Pablo) and Armegeddon left Fat Joe in his dust on Murder Rap. The rest of this album stinks. What's Luv feat Ashanti and Ja Rule is light fluffy pop garbage that is unworthy of the praise it got. We Clubbin feat R Kelly was straight garbage and the remix feat Noreaga, Busta Rhymes and Remy Ma is worser than the original. Fat Joe wasted a great beat by Alchemist with wack rapping on Definition of A Don. Opposites Attract feat Remy Martin is horrible! Get The Hell On With That feat Ludacris and Armegeddon is wack even though Luda's verse was alright. The Wild Life feat Prospect and Xzibit is boring. King Of N.Y. wastes reggae legend Buju Banton's talent and our time. On the track Still Real, Fat Joe claims that we dont know what pain is. After hearing this album we have the concept of pain mastered. More garbage: He's Not Real(and the interlude before it was pointless), It's Ok and J.O.S.E. Bottom Line: Jealous Ones Still Envy is one of the worst albums of Fat Joe's career. The beats were weak, the lyrics were lazy and the guest appearances add very little to this album. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid. I dont blame anybody who lost respect for Fat Joe after this album and his subsequent albums. He went out like a snake to save his career from inevitable extinction.

- Hip-Hop at it's worst!
This is Fat Joe's worst album and wind up being his best selling. Compare this album to his first two and you can tell the difference. Man, I really miss real hip-hop.

- Fat Joe - Jelous Ones Still Envy
Fat Joe is NOT the King of N.Y. but he does have a good album. With songs like the single "We Thuggin'" and the new smash "What's Luv" you gotta have this. Other tight songs are: "My Lifestyle", "Fight Club", "Get The Hell On With That", "We Thuggin (Remix)". Its a good album it just is missing something. It's just not something you can listen to start to finish. But you gotta get it if you are a rap or terror squad fan.
