- Another fun Erasure production
My wife was about 6 months pregnant with our daughter for this tour and thus, was my daughter's first Erasure concert. Now she's a healthy, happy little baby girl who gets to relive her very first Erasure show.

The audio quality is excellent and if you enjoyed this tour, then listening to this album will bring back very good memories. I personally thought that some of the arrangements were weird the first time I heard them at the show, but I thought they were fun nonetheless. As odd as it may be for some to hear Erasure acoustically, it's certainly not the first time that most Erasure fans have heard them acoustically, having done limited acoustic recordings in the past. Besides, I would be perfectly content listening to Andy sing in the shower or accompanied by a buzz saw and jack hammer.

As in the San Francisco show, Andy's voice is dead on for his performance in Nashville. He sounds great and the backup singers don't overwhelm Andy's voice. The show and this CD/DVD was worth it just to hear Andy sing Alien, How Many Times?, Spiralling, and Piano Song live. My daughter seems to prefer Victim of Love :)

The first disc is the audio CD and the second disc is the DVD that has the entire show plus a few bonus songs and a short film. This release is definitely a good value considering it includes the full CD and DVD for the price of just the CD.

~Eagerly awaiting Light At The End Of The World on May 22.

- Better Than What I Expected!
I just got this cd in the mail yesterday and I LOVED IT. I've been a fan of Erasure since 1987 but I have to admit that I got disconnected from their music when they did the CDs "Other People's Songs" and "Nightbird". At that time, I thought their songs started to sound the same. This new CD is such a refreshing change from all that electronic stuff the band is known for. Just imagine classic Erasure songs redone with different arrangements in the context of country music. I know it sounds crazy but the band pulled it off. Go to YouTube and check out some video clips from their acoustic shows. Too bad MTV Unplugged is not around anymore. Erasure could have done that show and blown everybody away.

- Erasure in a whole new light!
I wasn't sure at first if I'd enjoy Erasure live, minus all of their signature synths.... but this works! And it works really well! The songs are given a whole new life with the use of traditionally country music instrumentation. This package is worth its price if only for the amazing new interpretation of Blue Savannah. Breathtaking.

- excellent erasure!
I didn't expect to find a "live" Erasure cd so great. The more I listem to it, the more I like it. This is a great addition to any Erasure collection. BUY THIS CD!!!

- bargain of the century
Tons of great songs and a DVD for a decent price. This tour was one of the most unusual and exciting I have seen. It was truly adventurous for a "synth" band to strip it down like this: but then we always knew that the strength was in the immortal songs. This is the way to do it. When the record company offers something this special, we will snap it up and tell the others. Great job!
