- «Elvis 1963 soudtrack recordings«
This cd collects the two soundrack albuns recorded by Elvis for is 1963 musical pictures. Booth films are entertaining as the respective soundtracks, but a few of the songs are really far from briliant and although they could be considered aceptable for being included on the pictures they shouldn't have been released on an Elvis Presley album. That is certanly the case of 'Cotton candy Land' and 'Happy Ending' from the «It hapened at World's Fair soundtrack«, but also 'there's no room to runba in a sport's car'from the «Fun in Acapulco« soudtrack. However if you like to ear some nice early sixties pop music, and especially if you are able to apreciate what the talent of a great singer and his fantastic musicians can do with some forgetable songs, you will consider this an entertaining album. Highligths are:the classic 'Bossa nova baby', 'Mexico', 'I think i'm gonna like it here' and 'The bullfigther was a lady' from «Fun in Acapulco«, and 'Behind the Bend', 'One Broken heart for sale', and 'They remind me too mutch of you' from «It Hapenned at World's fair«. In conclusion, a few nice songs in this cd, and specially Elvis having fun with the latin sound of «Fun in Acapulco«.

- If you like Elvis, this CD is for you.
Two classic movies with Elvis singing his heart out. My favorites on the movie Worlds Fair are "They Remind Me Too Much Of You" and "I'm Falling In Love Tonight" and the second movie Fun In Acapulco, I liked most of the songs and after listening to them wanted to hit my favorite Mexican restaurant. The songs really put you in the mood. My favorite song off of Acapulco is "Marguerita". Listen to Elvis' deep voice that really delivers chills in this one...forget Bossa Nova Baby as the hit off this movie, we've heard it a million times if your a baby boomer and to me has lost its luster. But this is a great CD all in all and definitely should be part of your collection. You really get your moneys worth with Elvis tunes on this one.

- Elvis giving a mixture of everything
"It Happened At The World's Fair" had plenty of fun songs on it, including "Beyond The Bend", "Take Me To The Fair", "One Broken Heart For Sale", and "Happy Ending". There's even the naughty little "Relax" song and the strong ballad "They Remind Me Too Much Of You".

"Fun In Acapulco" shows the versatility of Elvis with some Spanish thrown in the mix in "Vino, Dinero Y Amor" and "Guadalajara". He scores on the rocker "Bossa Nova Baby", which made it into the Top 10 on the U.S. charts, and some good ballads in "El Toro", "Marguerita" and "You Can't Say No In Acapulco". There's even some fun ones that kind of preview his future dismal soundtrack songs, such as "The Bullfighter Was A Lady" and "No Room To Rhumba In A Sports Car". You can tell he has fun with the last two, but unfortunately it would become a theme to sing corny songs in future soundtracks that were loaded with material like this.

Overall, two strong soundtracks. Both pre-1964 soundtracks, which is basically the cutoff year for Elvis' best soundtracks from top to bottom. After that, they take a downward turn and only a couple songs on each are very solid.

- Absolute Satisfaction
I ordered this item for a friend. Before giving it to him I wanted to make sure that the quality of the CD was acceptable. So I listened to it. Even though I do not like Elvis Presley the recording was of such quality that I listened to it and copied it to my computer!!!
Here if I am allowed I would like to praise the Amazon service.

- Get This
The Soundtrack for Fun in Acapulco alone goes for 50 bucks from the Elvis web site. The quality is great, and if you're just looking for the music, this package is perfect. Fun in Acapulco is a very underated soundtrack, filled with the sounds of a tropical summer done up Elvis style.
