Sir Elton John bringt «The Red Piano»-Show endlich in die Schweiz
Er ist einer der angesehensten und erfolgreichsten Sänger und Musiker der gesamten Rockgeschichte. Die Liste seiner Hits ist unendlich lang – Titel wie «Daniel», «Rocket Man», «Dont Let The Sun Go Down On Me», «Candle In The Wind» oder «Your Song» kennt jede/r. Die Rede ist natürlich von Sir Elton John. Der 62-jährige Megastar hat für seine Schweizer Fans einen besonderen Leckerbissen für 2009 vorgesehen. Er kommt mit seiner Las Vegas-Show «The Red Piano» am Freitag, 16. Oktober 2009 (20 Uhr) nach Zürich ins Hallenstadion! Seit 2004 hatte Elton John in Las Vegas dieses spektakuläre Programm in rund 200 Shows gezeigt. 2007 trat er anlässlich seines 60. Geburtstags mit «The Red Piano» in London auf und sang Hits wie «Im Still Standing», «Crocodile Rock» und «Candle In The Wind». Bei der Bühnenshow werden auf einer riesigen Leinwand Filmkompositionen des Fotografen David LaChapelle gezeigt – teilweise mit Videos aus dem Privatarchiv des Sängers.
