For Elton John, he seemed to be back in the fastlane in the 90's, after serious battles he had to face for himself and his personal life. When he was revived, his music was also welcomed back with love. Ironically, I wonder about the same when his music is remixed. With the remix of Don't Go Breaking My Heart, with RuPaul, it seemed alright, but not anything that should be raved about from Elton John. Although the chemistry is fair, it just can't beat the original version type-casted with Kiki Dee in 1976. If you're a fan of Elton John's dance versions of his songs, go try to find his 1993 record Duets, which this is featured on. If not, the original is always best.
