- A SAW Summer
After the fall of disco, Donna Summer fluttered about the 80s producing music, a random hit sneaking it's way around and into her career ever so often. This was definitely one of the hits, an album produced by the stellar team of Stock Aitken Waterman, it yielded a hit in the amazing pop single "This Time I Know It's For Real". Her voice is powerful, the lyrics perfect, the synth pop backing just right. It's a diamond in a crown of pop jewels that is "Another Place And Time". The sound is perfect for the time, and the songs are great, impossibly catchy cuts include "I Don't Wanna Get Hurt", "Sentimental", and "Love's About To Change My Heart". This was probably one of the best albums created in the hands of SAW, and provided Donna with a well deserved hit. This collection is a must for fans of Donna, 80s pop, and the SAW sound. Wonderful collection.

- Im not the only one!
I knew i wasnt the only one who loved this album. Donna has had alot of hits and alot of albums,, yet this remains my absolute favourite. Its not enough to love the hits, you'll love the album tracks as well. Even if you already have the Anthology i suggest you pick this one up too. Stock/Aitken/Waterman produced alot of hits during their run at PWL Records, but these 10 tracks remain some of the very best. Get this one while you can!

- Long Time Coming
It seemed forever for This Time I Know its for Real to make it
from the clubs to mass release..Rumored David Geffen refused
to release it, it's the best album Donna released in the 80's
Thank goodness for Atlantic Records...Loves about to Change my Heart is definitely one of her best after her heyday as the Queen of Disco..my memories of this song are very vivid with the amount of airplay it got in the LA area during my visit there Labor Day 1989...

- Ear Candy For The Dance Floor
No, this album is not Donna at her creative best, but it is a fun album and it yielded her last US Pop Top Ten Hit (to date).

You can easily reconize the SAW production, however Donna's one of a kind vocals elevate their production efforts to a new high. The entire album (save for the ballad, the title track) beckons you on to the dance floor. The upbeat songs take us back if only for a moement to the fun, and fantasy of the Disco Era. To me the bext tracks are "This Time I Know It's For Real", "Sentimental", "Whatever Your Heart Desires", and the VERY disco, "Love's About To Change My Hearet".

Looking for a Good Time?, put on this disk, and "dance the night away".

- America's Disco Queen Gets SAW/PWL Flair
It was a match made in heaven. Take one part Disco Queen and mix it with three parts Hit Factory and you get absolute brilliance!! Yes, the masters of Euro-Pop/Disco/Dance--Stock, Aitken, Waterman have given Donna Summer a winning combination of soul, funk and spunk that just doesn't quit!

Along with the SAW/PWL roster of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Sinitta and Hazell Dean comes a wealth of sound fusion and brilliance that still lets Donna Summer's style shine clearly and unmistakably. Starting with the signature track, "This Time I Know It's For Real," you know this is SAW/PWL genius on full throttle. Donna kicks into even higher gear with her own brand of vocal punch and bite. It's all this song needs to place it in Eurodance and Eurodisco's Hall Of Fame.

Furthering the tradition, "Breakaway" and "Love's About To Change My Heart" are yet more of the prime samplings in the SAW/PWL brain trust. Gutsier and more emotionally charged, Donna manages to make these tracks her own yet still lets the SAW gloss make its mark.

This album is pure PLATINUM in every sense-made from the perfect equation!

Highlights include "When Love Takes Over You," "If It Makes You Feel Good" and "Whatever Your Heart Desires"
